3X3 Summer Classic

This 3rd annual event will be open for registration sometime in early August, for all ages 16-80. This tournamnet serves as a fundraiser for the Sr. boys basketball program. TEAMS OF 4 REGISTER to compete in a 3v3 tournament for a cash grand prize, generously donated by Alberni Co-op, and medal awards. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games and every participant receives their own jersey. The tournament is limited to just 12 teams, so register your team early!

For the first stage of the tournament teams are randomly grouped into 1 of 3 pools for non-stop round-robin pool action on three separate half-courts. Round robin consists of teams playing all other teams within the same pool. Standings are determined by wins and losses within each pool.

During our 45 minute lunch break, participants and fans will have the opportunity to take part in our exciting 3-pt contest. (Ask our organizers for more details.)

The second half of our tournament will seed the top 2 teams from each pool into a knockout playoff bracket to determine the champion and CASH GRAND PRIZE WINNER. Medal awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishing teams.
